barn belonging to Kirby Brothers, in
the Wagner creek section above Tal
ent was destroyed by fire, together
with all Its contents Including one
hundred tons of hay. and two milk
cows and their calves. There were
people from several towns In the
valley who went to the scene of the
fire. Tho loss falls heavy on the
boys, ns they have a lot of beef cat
tle which they must feed, and hay is
at a good pi-Ice. We hear that there
was somo insurance on the barn and
contents.
