" The Douglas county court Saturday
adopted an order appropriating $17,
100 to catch an appropriation from the
government of a likS amount, which
win be used In the construction of the
Rock Creek-Boundary section of the
North Uuipqua highway. When com
pleted the road will make the short
est, direct route to Crater und Dia
mond lakes, with connection with
Bond and the Klamath section. It is
one of tho most important road pro
jects In the state. .Of the total, $10.
