weather bulletin service for the liene
fit of shipping In thu Caribbean Sea
has been arranged for by the I'nitcd
States Weather Bureau through the
radio service ot a commercial steam
ship company. The bulletins will be
flushed twice dully from the company's
station on Swan Island, in the western
Caribbean.
The morning bulletins will be sent
out only during tho hurricane season
which lasts from June through No
vember, anil will bo in two parts. The
first part will contain weather obser
vations from ten selected stations
throughout the West Indies and near
by coasts. Tho second pa it will con
tain daily forecasts of wind and weath
er for tho Gulf of Mexico and the
Caribbean west of longltudn 72 de
grees, and advices and warnings re
garding the locution and movement of
hurricanes in warm weather and
"northers" In winter.
The night bulletins will be broad
cast daily throughout the year and will
contain foreensts, advices anil warn
ings similar to those included in the
second pail of tho morning bulletins.
