Florence E. Allen of Cleveland today
announced her candidacy for nomina
tion to the supreme court of Ohio.
Judge Allen, who was the first wom
an elected to the common pleas bench
in Ohio, was the first woman to run
for the supreme court in this state, if
not in the country.
