Alex Sparrow arrived back in the
city lato yesterday afternoon from
Crater Lake National park to which he
took a crew of workmen several days
ago to start the work of opening up
the entrance roads in the park, pre
paratory to the opening of the Crater
Luke season on July 1st. Mr. Sparrow
left on the early evening train shortly
after his arrival here, having been
called to that city by the death of a
cousin. He is not expected back in the
city for Boveral dnys.
