Wonderful Display of
Roses, First Baptist
Prosperity Week had a good start
Sunday in tho Rose Service conducted
at the First Baptist church. Probably
no such display of roses was ever seen
in Medford at a similar service. Rev.
f R. Leach commended highly those
who had the display in charge, saying
that it far exceeded anything of the
kind he had ever seen at any service
in a church in any part of the country.
A large audience was present, . each
person wearing a rose. Rev. Leach
gave an inspirational sermon on "The
Lessons of the Flowers," which called
attention to tho two Bibles, the bible of
nature and the bible of revelation, and
as God was the author of both there
could of necessity be no contradiction
between them.
A pleasing Children's Day program
was given by the Sunday school in the
evening, at which time the house was
well filled.

this afternoon when his plane crash
