county officers, the statu highway
commission and federal officials, de
cision waH reached to go ahead with
construction of the Neskowin-Salmon
river forwit road, project in Tillamook
county throuKh the forest reserve to
Ueyils kike in Lincoln count, and next
year to continue the road work from
Devils lake to a crosslnir or SlleU
river. This will give an all-ear high-
way between Toledo, Newport and
Tillamook city which coast residents
have been hoping for. .The project will
cost about $300,000, Lincoln county to
pay. $120,000. and the remainder to be
paid by the state and federal" govern
ment
