Dependable Through
Thick and Thin
- Above everything else
you want dependability built
into the grain binder you buy.
You want your binder to go in
to your grain fields, no matter
what the conditions may be,
find cut the grain with the least
possible loss of time and grain.
' We nre selling the John Deere
Grain Binder became we 'know it
will give you that dependable binder
service which makes it profitable
Investment.
From the bottom up it's a
tetter-built grain binder. Bigger
wind stronger roller-bearing wheels;
lieavler one-piece main frame widely
Japped and hot-riveted together;
titrong rigid platform; three packers
4nitead of two, assuring better
tiundles in alt kinds of grain these
re Just few of the features that
make It the frsf tr binder.
Another feature you will
appreciate on thla binder la the
easily-operated bundle carrier.
No effort to hold It in receiving
position or to dump it. Because
the teeth rlso out of the stubble
the instant you atart to return the
carrier, it's exceptionally easy to
bring it back? to receiving position. .
And it's no trick to keep this carrier
always in easy-working order simple
adjustments are provided to accom
plish this.
The Quick Turn Tongue
Truck adds much to . th effective
work of the John Deere. The wheels
turn faster than the pole, making;
clean, square corners poaaible. Be
cause the truck axle is flexibly
mounted, both wheels hold to the
ground no matter how rough the
field may be. This keep the binder
running straight, and takes off tho
side draft from the horses.

At the instigation of AshUnd men. Mr.

"The stone in tho vicinity of the Blair

Ashland mountain. When first formed
the granite which we now see on the sur
