CRATER LAKE ROAO
One motorist say $ :
"1 recently returned from
an 1100-mile trip. Before
tarting I cleaned out crank
case and filled with Cycol.
With Cycol I found better
lubrication, smoother oper
ation, entire absence of
spark plug trouble, although
base was full at all times,
less carbon and an increase
of three mites to the gallon
of ts" M. BLACKMAN
Sao Mateo, Cal.
from each gallon of gasoline
Ordinary motor oils contain destructive "sulpho" compounds,
no matter what "base" they are or where the crude comes
from. It is these impurities which cause them to break down
rapidly under engine heat, thin out and result in faulty lu
brication, excessive oil and gasoline consumption and unnec
essary maintenance costs.
Cycol retains its correct body under engine heat, gives more
efficient lubrication, insures a gas-tight piston seal .and re
duces upkeep costs.
You too will notice a great improvement in the power and
life of your motor, and in maintenance "costs, by flushing'
your crank case the right way and using Cycol. Remove
drain plug while the engine is hot. Replace plug and pour
in two quarts of the grade of oil specified on the Lubrication
Chart (not kerosene or so-called "flushing oils). Run the
engine for five minutes. Drain and refill with .the correct
grade of Cycol. Cycol will mix with other oils but it is
advisable to use Cycol exclusively, because it contains no
destructive "sulpho" compounds and because it insures cor
rect lubrication.
Look for the Cycol Sign. It is your guarantee against get
ting motor oils which contain those power-wasting, money
' wasting "sulpho" compounds.

Gas Is a Glean,
Convenient Fuel
It ccmes into your house and to the stove in
a small, well-concealed pipe. Gas fires pro

Kitchens in which gas is used for cooking

gas as a fuel for cooking.
