with California licenses, are camping
at the intersection of the old and the
new Pnciflc highway about a mile
north of the city limits," says the
Grants Pass Courier. "The party' in
general were disgusted with the cli
mate in southern California. One of

his way to Chicago with his family
after wintering In the south, while sev
eral of the party were enroute from
