The Grants Pass Irrigation district
has just placed an order through
Paul's Electrlo store tor two Do laval
pumps, direct connected to Western
Electric motors. These pumps are to
deliver 3000 gallons per minute and
PiHH) gallons per minute at guaranteed
efficiencies of SO and 83 per cent re
spectively, two De Laval units, pump
ing over thirty roilllous gallons per
day have been In operation in the city
or Minneapolis for over three years
and have maintained an efficiency of
over so per cent during 'the entire
period. One of the units for the city
of Sacramento showed an efficiency
of S9 per cent on the test, lie Laval
apparatus has a record of as high effic
iency as any pumping equipment built
and the -district is to be congratulated
in this initial purchase of high grade
equipment
