waa highly enjoyed by a fair 'sized
crowd. He was introduced by the Rev.
Sasnett. who gave a brief history of
his work. Scovell proved himself a
good entertainer, and waa particularly
good In Shakespearean selections. He
also rendered "Caaey at the Bat" Mr.
Scovell will make another appearance
at Ashland, and then goes to Rose burg
for a return engagement .
