Southern Pacific depot was being un
loaded today from the S. P.'s own
Beaver Hill mines in Cooe county. The
Medford depot uses about 75 tons of

ment, that their Instructions to remove
mall boxes from highways will not be
allowed unless the mall boxes are eas
ily reached by the mall carriers, with

boxes are now located, in many In
stances at the edge of the pavement,
and were recently ordered set back.
The postoffice order means that the
state will either have to rescind the
order or comply with the rules that
