There was quite a collision on the
Pacific highway at tho cro&s roads
north part of Talent Sunday evening,
which would havo been serious If the
drivers had been going at higher
speed. Bud Dennis of Ashland was
going north In his heavy touring car,
failing to see the large luterurban bus
approaches In the heavy fog as he
started to turn west. The bus driver
run in the ditch to save a collision,
but was too late, tho Dennis car
struck it.. tearing off a hind wheel and
bending his own car up considerable.
Mr. Dennis took ull tho blutue good
naturedly, carried Mr. Lewis' passen
gers on to Ashland, and In the mean
time the other large lnterurban car
came to tho rescue, and while pulling
the other car out of tho ditch, a Ford
came along at a good speod, trying to
knock it off the hlgnwny, which re
sulted In a second wreck. The Ford
was carried away on strotchers, and
everybody seemed to bo glad tho dam
ages was no greater and that no one
was hurt.
