WASHINGTON, Nov. 2G. Class and
commodity rates from California
points to Douglas. Ariz., were held
prejudicial to Douglas today by the
inter-state commerce commission to
the extent that they exceed rates in
effect from the same points to Bisbee,
Arizona.
Commodity rates to Douglas from
points in Oregon and Washington were
likewise held unjust to Douglas to the
extent that they exceed rates from the
same points of origin to El Paso.

ker who wakes one morning after a

hunch that it will make hix fortune.
Ho borrows money to buy. Then the
stock slumps. His loan is called in.
Unable to meet It and unwilling to
give up his hunch he arranges to- dis
appear for a time, leaving a hat' and
knife to indicate that he has been mur
dered. Starting for the country, he is
arrested ns a suspicious character and
held for his own murder.
The series of hilarious incident
that follow in the story seem made for
screen use and, the role of the young
broker should show Mr. Hughes at his
best.
