The calling off of the great railroad
strike gave much relief to all residents
of the city and valley, especially the
fruit shippers and orchardlsta. I'p to
today 683 cars of pears and 242 cars of
apples had been shipped east from
Medford.. No empty refrigerator care
arrived In the city Friday but from 15
to 20 came stringing in today.
