last night from San Francisco and
spent today in reviewing with local
officials the plans which outline the
remodeling of the present company of
fice building and the construction o(
new' buildings incidental to the com
pany's headquarters being removed to
Medford by the first of the year from
Sail Francisco.

motorcycle, performer has supplied

crowds have enjoyed the wrestling
matches held in connection with the
show.
The Levitt-Brown-Hugglns enrnival
is one of the most complete. Southern
Oregon people have enjoyed. The car
nival will not leave Medford before
Saturday night.

OBITUARY
I
WELLS Penceilla Wells passed
away early this morning at the homo
of her sistor-ln-law, Mrs. Irene Wells
at Talent. Miss Wells was born in
Iowa. She had been in Jackson county
since last February, having come to
Oregon for an extended visit. Death
was due to apoplexy. She leaves two
brothers in Iowa. Remains will be
forwarded by Weeks-Conger Co., Sat
urday morning to Centerville, Iowa,
where funcrnl and interment will take
place.

passed away this morning. Mr. Wel
don had many friends in Jackson coun
ty to mourn his demise. Death came
as a result of paralysis. Funeral ar
