Much curiosity was aroused yeatar
day afternoon by the appearance of a
sheet metal bouse perambulating
across Main Btreet at the corner of

the opinion that one of the burned-out
tenants of the Barnum apartments had
taken time by the forelock and built
himself a fire-proof cottage with the
ability to move at will. However, it
was found to be propelled by sevoral
men who after much toil placed it
upon the roof of the Getchell building

thought by many to have some connec
