assisted by nearly 4,000 industrial

greater than they were at the begin

The advantage of the west in
abundant weatr power was ono of
the reasons given for this suprem
acy and emphasis was laid on the
importance of electric development
to serve the future growth of this

acreage now Irrigated in California
is served with water by pumping,"
said Sibley "and future agricultur
al development is almost entirely de
pendent upon electric service." He

electricity to manufacturing and dem

The federal government has pur
chased the quarantine station at New
York from the state of New York.
