officials that tho funds raised by Un
American Legion through tho various
mate departments to decorate the
graves of all American soldiers hurled
in Europe have reached $20,000 and
aro expected to exceed $10,000 before
May 30. The legion has pledged that
no ono of tho American graves will be
neglected, national headquarters of
tho American Legion having charge of
the arrangements. In response to an
appeal Tor 10 rents from every legion
member, 11 departments have exceed
ed tho amount asked Tor tho decora
tion fund. Oregon bus forwarded the
sum or $300 for the decoration of the
