Mighty "Babe" Ruth started the fans'
. campaign on behalf of the American
Committee for Relief in Ireland, when
lie endorsed the Commiltce's drive for
funds in Allanla, Ga., and urged his
fans to do likewise. This is a big game
lhat "Home Run Babe" is now taking
a hand in saving hungry children and
women from dcalh. There arc thou
sands of them in Ireland living on a
cup of cocoa and a slice of bread a day.
There arc thousands of them in rags,
and lliousands homeless. It is for ihc
pucpose of feeding and sheltering them
that th American Commiilre for Re
lief in Ireland :ai been formed. It is
a non-scclarian, non-pohliral organiza
tion started for a purclv humanitarian
purpose, and it v needs $10,240,000.
"Babe" if out to help the Committee
get it, and he hereby invites his fans
to take a hand. Who'll root for him'
in his new game? It's the best one
ever pulling bread in the mouth of a
starving child. Just $10.00 will keep a
kiddie from starvation for a month and
help clothe it comfortably. Send it
yourself and get a friend-fan lo do
