Nine hundred and sixty-two ounces
of gold bullion, the result of a nine-
day clean-up at the Has well mine on

Francisco mint, where it will be
shipped in a few days. Lately three
shipments of gold to Grants Pass have
been made, the bullion having he
taken out in 24 days running, the bars
being valued at $34,000. The Hoswell
mine was always a heavy producer,
rich values having been III sight for
about six years, and $10,000 in gold
was taken out by the former owners
before the present Hoswell Milling
company purchased lite property.

Ralph Hand wrestling match at Gold
Hill tomorrow night and a record
breaking crowd will be in attendance
to see the grapplers clash.
Thye and Hand recently met in a
handicap match. Thye agreed to throw
Hand twice in an hour, but instead
came close to getting flopped himself.
This incident has not rested easy with
the northwest champion, and will
make the fur fly early Tuesday even
ing. Hand tackled Mike Yokel at
Portland last week, nnd t'ae latter also
railed to make good his offer to throw
all comers In 15 minutes. Yokel says
Hand is the toughest proposition he
has met in a long time. Thye post-
I poued a match with Yokel in order to

Hand.
The contest Tuesday will be to a
finish, best two out of three falls,
