Thirty-five members of the senior
class of Hie Grants Pass high school
formed a happy auto party which held
their class picnic- at Ta'jle Rock yes
terday, aud in the evening drove to
Medford and Ashland and attended
the theaters.
The degree team of the Medford
council of the Knights of Columbus
left by auto this afternoon with Jens
Jenson as chauffeur for Klamath Falls
to attend the installation ami initia
tion there tomorrow of a council in
that city with 85 members. The Med
ford team, which is composed of
Larry Schade, Fred Osburn, Win.
Hanna, A. Tyo and W. R. Lewis, will
put on the first and second degrees,
and the Portland team composed of
prominent members of the order in
the state will put on the third degree.
The two teams will return to .Medlord
on Monday whore Monday night a
