employed," In an effort to relieve the
unemployment situation. It seeks the
co-operation of all civic organizations
working aiong similar lines. The
American Legion states that It docs
not ask employment for ex-service
men unless they "deliver the goods,"
and requests employers to report If
they fail. It urges that all municipal
work, such as paving, etc., be speeded
up. The appeal was issued upon the
suggestion of Governor Ben Olcott.
