Specialties, particularly tobaccos and sugars, lost, one to four points and mo tors, equipments and minor steels fell one to two points. There were a few comparatively strong features, mainly those which recently suffered most under short pressure. International Harvester made a further recovery of almost i three points.. Atlantic Gulf overcame early pressure and Mexican Petroleum, Houston Oil, Utah Copper and Twin City Rapid Transit regis tered extreme gains of 1 to 3 points. The only movement of note among rails was a two point decline in New Orleans, Texas and Mexico. The clos ing ,was heavy. Sales approximated 250,000 shares.
