arrived home this morning from at
tending the Crater Lake development
project committee meeting in Portland
yesterday afternoon, and they are en
thusiastic over the outlook for plac
ing the famous Oregon renort on a real
basis as to hotel and other conces
sions. Mr. Vawter, who is a member
of the committee, said that that body
would meet again in Mcdtord in about
three weeks ami then give out a for
mal statement on the progress made
and details ol the plans, lie said that
nothing much can be done litis year
bevond raising a fund to help finance

next season everything would probab
ly he ready, the reorganization com
pleted and the new company in charge.
