periodical trip of inspection, as. a re
sult of which Ho far complaints have
been sworn out by iliem in Judse Tay
lor's court against a dozen Medford
business concerns alleging selling adul
terated foods. The accused will have
' their hearings ' within the next few
days. One of the accused has already
come in anil entered a plea of guilty,
receiving the minimum fine of tin and
costs. Most of the violations are of a
technical nature. It is understood
thai tho deputies will file more com
plaints, '

went over the plant, and will soon put
it into operation again as there is
demand for its product. The lime is

farmers at cost of production."
