single runs. Each time the film passed
through, It was necessary to time the
action to the' split second. Several
days were required to complete the
operation, oho of tho most difficult

been attempted.

EVERYONE INVITED
TO CONVENTION OF
The last details for the scenic pre
servation convention were completed
today and everything is in readiness
for the opening session at ten o'clock
tomorrow morning.
More than two thousand citizens of
Jackson county have had an invitation
extended them to attend the conven
tion, jot every citizen of tho county is
a recognized delegate and their pres
ence is earnestly solicited.
The Federal court room on tho sec
ond floor of the post office building
will bo the convention, headquarters
and fur the first time In tho history of
this building has anything but court
sessions been permitted the use of this
room. The Importance of this conven
tion was recognized by tho federal
authorities and therefore the uso of
the court room was granted to the
citizens of Jackson county.
There will be two sessions of tho
convention. At ten in the morning and
at one-thirty in the afternoon. Altho
the morning session will be important,
it is anticipated that the afternoon sea
sion will be more largely attendud in
that the koynote address will be de
livered by Prof. 1. E. Vinlng at that
time. -
A special Chamber of Commerce
luncheon will bo. held at tho Medford
hotel at noon,' the privilege of which is
extonded to all who are Interested In
tho scenic preservation movement,'
Citizens of Medford, especially mem
bers of the Medford Chamber of Com
merce, are urged to lend their support
in making this convention a success
by tholr attendance at tho various ses
sions and tlo luncheon. '
