The first two days of the farm bur
eau membership drive ended last night
with 500 farmers sinned up. The bur
eau had a membership of 750 last year,
which memberships expired January
1st. There are 15U0 farmers available
in Jackson county for membership in
tho bureau and It is confidently expect
ed that not less than 10U0 will be sign
ed up Saturday night when the cam
palBii closes. So far of nil the farmers
visited by tho solicitors, SO per cent
have signed up.
