The many Mends of Court Hall
learned with much regret Sunday that
the well known Medford man wa3 crit
ically ill at Riverside, Calif., where
with -Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Chas. Young
he went some time ago to upend the
remainder of the winter, following mi
operation on him Saturday for the re
moval of gallstones, and that the
chances of recovery were slim. The
news of the operation and his condi
tion were received here Sunday by
Mrs. Seely Hall from her husband who
is at his father's bedside.

OBITUARY
VINCENT Died at the home of his
son, A. L. Vincent, two miles south of
-Medford, oil the Pacific highway,
Benton Vincent. Deceased was born in
1841, died January 23, 1921. He crossed
the plains by wagon train in 1S04, six
months on the journey, landed at
Walla AValla. after a few years. He
came to Jackson county in 1S75,
bought a farm at the base of lower
Table Rock in 1S77, where he lived
until 1911, when he turned his business
interest over to his son with whom he
afterward miule his home. He leaves
to mourn his loss A. L. Vincent of
Medford, J. W. Vincent of Jackson
ville, and Mrs. Olive Green of Portland
and one brother, George Vincent of
Lake county, Oregon. His wife and
two daughters died several years ago.
Funeral Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. at
Weeks & Conger's chapel, Medford.
FARRELL Timothy M. Farrell died
at ids home 747 West Jacksan street.
Jan. 24th after a lingering illness, aged
07 years, eight months, 23 days. He
was born In County Cork, Ireland, May
1st, 1853, and for 35 years was a resi
dent of Idaho, coming to Medford three
years ago. He was employed in the
railroad service as conductor for many
years.
He leaves his wife. Belle, and one
son, Frank Farrell. He was a member
of Pocatello, Idaho lodge No. G74 B. P.
O. E., also the W. O. W. and Order of
Railway Conductors. The funeral ser
vices will he held at tho Perl Funeral
Homo, Wednesday at 2:30 p. m., under
tho auspices of the Christian Science
and at the grave In charge ot Medford
lodge No. 1169 B. P. O. E. Interment
ill Medrord I. O., O. F. cemetery.
