It seems to be the general opinion
around town that the four bootleci?era
arrested at a local hotel Tuesday nlisht
following their arrival by auto from
California, and who were released on
J800 cash ball, will not show up for
their preliminary hearing before Jus
tice Bagsbaw at Jacksonville tomorrow
forenoon, and in fact will never be
seen again hereabouts. Sheriff Terrill,
however, thinks that John and James
Doe, two of the men arrested whose
Identity he will not divulge, are not
bootleggers and will be here for the
healing and attempt to prove their in
nocence. If the four men do not show
up tho county will he $800 richer thru
the forfeiture of their cash ball.
