wnrd campaign, alter a three weeks
tanvass of delegates to the conven
tion. .
"Pledges already given," Mr. Vick
said today, "insure support for tile
governor from nearly every slate in
the Union on the f rsl ballot. These
pledges come not only from the pro
ponents of individual liberty and
states rights .but in stronger measure
from the men who feel a responsibil
ity in naming- a candidate who ecu
carry the elect'on and secure an ad
ministration of unbroken . pledges.
