Directors of Jledford Irrigation Dis
trict, a mutual corporation duly or
ganized and existing under the laws
of the State of Oregon, with Its prin
cipal office In the City of Medford,
Oregon, will receive sealed proposals
aiid bids for the construction of
works for the irrigation of the lands
of. Medford Irrigation District in ac
cordance with plans and specifica
tions filed in the office of the Hoard
of Directors of Medford Irrigation
District in the Medford Furniture &
Hardware building, in the City of
Medford, Oregon, where said plans
and specifications can be seen and
are now open for examination, on or
before the 15th day of May, 1920, at
eleven o clock in the forenoon of that
day. At said timo and place the
sold Board of Directors will open in
public any proposals and bids so re
ceived, and as soon as convenient
thereafter the said hoard will let said

cordance with Chapter 357 of the
General Laws of Oregon for 1917.
and all Acts amendatory thereof and
supplemental thereto, the Board of
Directors of Medford Irrigation Dis
trict, a municipal corporation duly
organized and existing under the laws
of tho State of Oregon, with lis prin
cipal office In the City of .Medford.
Oregon, will sell $1,250,000 in bonds
of the district out of the issue of
$1,500,000 of bonds of Medford Irri
gation District authorized at an elec
tion duly hold by the electors of said
district on the 2Sth day of September,
1SI1S, at the ol flee of the Board' of
Directors of the Medford Irrigation
District in the .Medford Furniture &
Hardware building in the City of
Medford. Oregon, on the 15th day of
May, 1920, at eleven o clock on the
forenoon of that day.
Said bonds .to be so sold shall ma
ture serially in annual umounts so as
to be approximately equal, principal
and Interest, beginning five years af
ter the date of issue and continuing
up to and including a period of
forty years thereafter. Said bonds
shall bo negotiable in form and
payable In Gold Coin of tho United
States of the present standard of
weight and fineness, or in Its equiv
alent. Said bonds shall bear interest
al the rate of six (G) per cent per
annum payable semi-unnually on tho
1st day of January and July of each
year, principal and interest payable
at the place to be designated re
spectively in the bonds and coupons,
said place to he in tho United States
and to' be designated by the success
ful bidder or bidders. Said bonds
shall be of the denomination of not
less than One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) nor more than One Thou
sand Dollars ($1,000.00). Coupons
for interest shall be attached to each
bond.

Medford, Oregon, will bo received
by the said (Board of Directors at
their office for the purchase of said
bonds until the said 15th day of
