The Chamber of Commerce will
take its first step in the re-orcani-zution
process on Kridav niirlit of this
week when the new membership wih
meet nt the library at ciirht o'clock to
adopt a revised set of bv-hnvs suit
able for the kind of organization
contemplated.
The bv-laws committee, consisting
of the executive committee and the
campaign majors and cuptains. met
Thursday afternoon at the head
quarters and drafted a set bv bv-laws
for submission to the membership on
Kridav nis:ht.
The installation work of the new
organization is proceeding on sched
ule. Details arc now heimr arranged
for the primary and final ejections
that are to follow immediately after
the adoption of by-laws. XIV. C. M.
Thomas was appointed chairman of
the elections 'committee and judge of
elections, nt the last meeting of the
executive committee.
Membership group meetings will be
held next week. The object of these
meeting is to take a 'thought sur
vey'1 of Mcdford preparatory to the
formulation of a program of work.
Gaston Domergue has been appointed
as chairman in charge of these meet
ings and will hold a meeting of his
associate chairmen on Kridav after
noon. There will bo a series of meet
ings and a different chairman for
each.
A one-dav clean-up on membership
was set for M-ondav, April :1. and the
majors and team captains will meet
nt lunch Kridav at the Xledford to ar
range the details.
