PARIS, Mar. 27. Three thousand

have been found by the inter-allied

According to the terms of the
treaty of Vorsuilcs the German army
should now have only 204 three-inch
Kims and no airplanes whatsoever.
These discoveries and other infor

skepticism nmong authorities here as
to the reason iriven for the request of
tho Berlin government that it be per

tral and occupied areas.
Avoid (lie- Trcuty
The fact that tho request came be
fore the Germans had executed any
material clause of the treaty although
tho time limit has expired on some
three score of its provisions, is de
clared in French official circles as
luying tho Germans open to suspicion
of attempting to avoid the Versailles
treaty provisions. Particular signi
ficance is attached bv the French to
the discovery of the euns since the
Germans, in a communication to the
allied commission to which their ex
cess of war material should have been
delivered bv March 10, said it made
no difference whether this material

they preferred to destroy
