which appeared recently in one of

Why BnmswickTires
Win Preference
There ere two main reasons one, trie name" itself,
which certifies periine value the other, that time
tells the same story.
Thus reputation and performance unite In giving
you all you expect and more.
Yet Brunswicks cost no more than liKe-?ype tires.
Many motorists would pay more readily, but the
Brunswick idea is to GIVE the utmost, rather than
to GET the u tmost. And this has been true since 1845.
You can appreciate what Brunswick Standards mean
by trying ONE Brunswick Tire. It will be a reve
lation. Y ou'll agree that you could not buy; a better,
regardless of price.
And, like other motorists,-you'H 'decide ?d Have
ALL Brunswicks. Then you'll know supreme satis
faction from your tirea longer , life, minimum
trouble, lower cost.

Marketing Oregon Fruit
The H'l-ower, after iiroducinp: a I'inc cmp el' fruit (if excellent quality
through liis knowledu'e ami careful attention to every detail ol" cultivation,
riinin. irrigation, spraying', etc., is finally confronted with the all-important
question of MAKKKTINti.
The successful niarketin.L? of Oregon fresh fruits with profit' to the
grower depends largely upon the Selling Organization of his agent.
Kaisins, Dried Peaches, Prunes and
canned fruits, handled hy associa
tions and packers are sold when
loaded on tlie cars at prices fixed by
'Hoards of Directors and often these
prices are guaranteed for weeks in
advance. I f the orders come slowly
the fruit, can be warehoused and
held for better markets.
Perishable, fresh fruit, on the con
trary cannot; be held in packing
houses for better prices. Presh

day's delay in getting to market; ef
fects condition. Pad) car is a prob

must be rushed by fast trains east
ward to the most promising mar
kets found by telegraph. A small
percentage is sold for cash in Cali
fornia to speculators the larger
part, however, is sold on arrival at;
the eastern destination. Prices
change daily and are governed not
only by the supply and demand,
but hy the quality and condition of
the fruit at; delivery point.
Thus twenty carloads of fresh fruit
of equal quality when loaded in
Oregon and sold the same day in
twenty different markets may
bring twenty different prices.
The securing of profitable1 prices
depends upon the individual Kales
men one with the car in the east
and the. sales officer in California,
both of whom must of necessity bo
time-trained experts in this work.
Pop fifteen years the Stewart Fruit.
Company has been building an ef

reputation for square dealing and
of obtaining best results for tlie
