Says
a little Salts in water maj
. save you from dread
attack.
Rhcumatium h easier to avoid than
to cure, states a well-known authority.
We arc advised to dress warmly; keep
the feet dry; avoid exposure; cat less
neat, but drink plenty of good water.
Rheumatism is a direct result of
ratine too much meat and other rich
foods that produce uric acin wnicn is
lbsorhed into the blood. It is the
'unction of the kidneys to filter this
cid from the blood and cast it out in
.he urine; the pores of the skin are
also a means of freeing the blood of
this impurity. In damp and chilly
cold weather the skin pores arc closed
hus forcing the kidneys to do double
;ork, they become weak and sluggish
.nd fail to eliminate the uric acid
vhich keeps accumulating and circulat
ng through the system, eventually set
ling in the joinu and muscles causing
tiftness, soreness and pain called rncu
.atism. At the first twinge of rheumatism
ret from any pharmacy about four
ninces of Jad Salts ; put a tablcspoon
ul in a glass of water and drink before
ireakfast each morning for a week.
This is said to eliminate uric acid by
.uimulating the kidneys to normal
action, thus ridding the blood of these
impurities.
Jad Salts is inexpensive, harmless and
:r. made from the acid of grapes and
iemon juice, combined with lithia and
is used with excellent results by thou
sands of folks who are subject to rheu
matism. Here you have a pleasant,
effervescent lithia-water drink which
helps overcome uric acid and is bene
fui'tl to wiur kidneys as well.
iO YOU WANT your friends to avoid you? They
J will certainly do so when your breath is bad.
There is no excuse for anyone having a bad
breathy It is caused by disorders of the stomach
which can be corrected by taking Chamberlain's
Tablets. Many have been permanently cured of
stomach troubles by the use of these tablets after
years of suffering. Price 25 cents per bottle.
