Indeed fortunate in having Miss How

ious chapters. A thoroughly trained
and experienced social worker in the
I'niled Stutes, she went overseas with
theAmnrican lied Cross to work
among the refugees of northern
France. After the signing of the.
armistice she was sent with the
American Hod Cross commission into
jluninnia where she spent over six
mouths in intensive (ted Cross work.
Tlie commission found frightful con
ditions there whicn they remedied to
a great extent. Miss Howler gives
light upon a side of the after war
work which has not been touched
upon in any of the lectures we have
heard and which js most interesting.
These meetings will be. held each
morning from HI to if and each
afterncon from :! to 1 at lied Cross
headquarters in Medford. Problems
of community importance will he dis
cussed by Miss Howler and methods
of dealing with the samo suggested.
Any one desiring to attend these lec
tures is most welcome. There is no
diarge for the course, being free to
all. Your local Ited Cross is anxious
that every cue interested in Mich
work should come to at least a part
of the meetings. The meetings are
hold in the Red Cross rest room in
the Sparta building. Medford. Ore.

T.'ie Frageol Seven-Speed Compound Transmission
enables the Frageol truck to cover the level road at pas
senger car speed and to negotiate the steepest grades with
ease.
This special truck transmission, as developed by the
Fagoel Motors Company, has vastly increased the field of
truck operation, with reduced operating cost.
Over three hundred Fagoel trucks operating under most
difficult conditions on the Pacific Coast during the past
two years, prove the soundness of the principle involved.
Two of these trucks have been ordered, for delivery
March 1.
