HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
The subject matter of a portion of
the book "The Keeitatit.'n," by lletts
was considered and discussed by the
lfigh School instructors in regular
session last Monday night.
The group meeting consisting of
all teachers of grades 7 and S, met in
regular session with the superinten
dent Wednesday evening.
Following the group meeting on
Wednesday, the committee appointed
to apportion the local prizes to the
different schools met nnd formulated
u definite plan.
On Tuesduy during a portion o
the assembly period, Merritt Perry,
president of the senior class of last
year, presented two honor cups to the
student body, which are to lie award
ed to the boy and girl who, at the
end of their senior year and at the
time of their graduation, have made
the . greatest success of their high
school career,, this success to be
measured by character, scholarship,
student-activity and general good
fellowship. When pupils are out of school for
a low days, parents are asked to see
that certificates from their family
physician or from the city health of
ficer are secured. This is required
in all schools.
Four hundred pupils are enrolled
in the high school this year. This is
an increase of about one hundred and
twenty-five over that of last year. In
the freshman class there are one
hundred and seventy members.
The local prizes as donated by the
business men of our city for the es
say contest are apportioned among
the schools by groups as follows:
1. A general group consisting of
1st and 2nd prizes, $44.00 and $17.00
respectively in value, competed for
by all schools and grades.

GRANDMA NEVER LET .
HER IfRJET GRAY
She Kept Her Locks Dark and
Glossy, with Sage Tea
and Sulphur.
When you darken your hair with
Rage Tea and Sulphur, no one can
tell, because it's done so naturally, so
evenly. Preparing this mixture,
though, at homo is mussy and trouble
some. At little cost you can buy at
any drug store the ready-to-use prep
aration, Improved by the addition of
other ingredients called "Wyeth's Sa?e I
and Sulphur Compound." You Juat
dampen a sponge or soft brush with j
It and draw this through your hair, i
taking one small strand at a time. ;
By morning all gray hair disappears, i
nnd, after another application or two,
your hair' becomes beautifully dark
ened, glossy and luxuriant.
Gray, faded hair, though no dis
grace, is a sign of old age, and as we
nil desire a youthful and attractive
appearance," get busy at onco with
Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Compound
and look years younger. This ready-to-use
preparation is a delightful toi
let requisite and not a medicine. It
is not intended for the cure, mitiga
tion or prevention of disease.
