In Mrs. Scutti's voice Is volume,
flexibility, and mm h sweetness, while
in her lower ratine she displays rich
tones of pathos and dram at ic fire.

ing voice .Mrs. Scutti is also possessed
of unusual personal magnetism, and
It is hoped that Med ford will soon
have an opportunity of hearing this

Willis K. Carter, the daring nuto
thief who on his way thru here last
fall with a stolen auto from Los An
geles with an accomplice stopped
long enough to burglarize the Med
ford Service station was found guilty
of burglary In the first degree in
that city and was sentenced to from
one to 1j years in the penitentiary on
Feb. .1. Ho was also found guilty of
grand larceny at the same term of
court and was given another prison
sentence which he will begin serving
at the expiration of his burglary sen
tence.
