Where Can I Find
Itching, Terrifying Eczema?
Question on Lips of Afflicted,

caused by Eczema that almost be
comes a torture. The itching is al
most unbearable, and the skin
seems on fire with the burning ir

that the successful operation of our
local concerns is an indication of the
prosperity cf the community at largo.
Ml the city institutions along thes
channels report 1919 us having been
a most prosperous one, and the signs
on the financial horizon indicate thus
early in 1920 that resul's will bo
gratifying this year also. In a for
mal manner tho three city banks have
at their annual meetings elected di
rectors and other officers, yet infor
mally and in a casual way matters
either affecting tho personnel or
management of the institutions oc
t'ur which deserve even more than a

pert accountant, and his appointment
to this position is a merited recogni
tion of ability. V. V. Mills uud the
Misses Powell and Walker remain
with the bank, and all connected with
the institution receivo substantial
increases in salary. Tho cashier's re
port for the year just closed exhibited
romarkable activity along all lines,
and profits were greater than evea
before, in spite o tho heavier over
head expenso now prevailing as to
employment, supplies, etc. Long
since this bank outdistanced tho mil
lion dollar status as applied to re
sources and liabilities respectively,
and is rapidly forging ahead to the
?l,iUO,000 classification. Its new
savings department, opened Jan. 1,
1919, showed a growth of over $225,
000 in deposits for that year. Not
only Js a largo share of government
business transacted free of cost but
to government and individuals in the
way of handling an enormous volume
of transactions in behalf of the fed
eral authorities, thus fulfilling a pa
triotic duty, but in addition the bank
has assisted customers in making
sound investments locally to tho ex
tent of over $100,000, the income
from which, added' to interest on de
posits, yielding a very considerable
amount to tho community in general.
In fact the bank sets tho pace for safe
commercial investments even outside
df its particular sphere in handling
loans and discounts-
