Colonel J. F. Munday announced
today that resumption of drilling for
oil on the Stokes ranch near Medford
which was stopped by the recent
snow storm and hard freeze will be
bee,un in about a week. The drill is
now down 4 r feet, much hard luck
has been encountered ever since Aril
ling was begun. The well is beinp
drilled by tho Western Oil company,
in which ouly three men are finan
cially interested, and none of the
company's stock is for sale.
