ium, with septicemia, which develop
ed from a tonsilitis attack, Is Im

Etna Mills, Cal., to work in the com
pany's plant there when he was
taken ill. His father has been here
for several days at his bedside. -

Within u few days a party of ban
dits, commanded by tho Arellano
brothers, 'burned a large part of the
vlllago of Tlapocoynn, causing nu un
determined number of casualties. An
other attack by Podro Galmy, falsely
reported killed, on the Alvurado rail
way near Salinas, claimed fifteen
passengers and fifteen soldiers as vic
tims. ' Tho only military success regis
tered was the attack on a military
tralu near Tlerra Blanca, on the,
lstjymis railway, at a point known as
"Devil's 'Backbone." 'by forces under
the rebel leaders, Villogus and Ln
