river was clear, altho still high, too
high for good steelhead and salmon

Overland stock car, Model 90, on April 5th,
at Oklahoma City, made a new world's record
for a seven day's non-stop run, with gear sealed
in, high. . r , t : . :
Over rough country roads, goorl and bad city pavements, through
traffic of a city, with two days of rain, the Overland Model 90 trav
eled 4370.1 miles. That beats next best record, standing since 1914,
by more than 129 miles. It traveled a distance equal to trip from
New York to Los Angeles and back to Oklahoma City at a cost of
less than two cents a mile for gasoline and oil.

ing in four hour shifts with observers. Overland 00 averaged (24.3 miles a day and the speed
was 26,1 miles per hour. Averaged 20.66 miles per gallon of regular 50 test gasoline. Never
changed carburetor or a spark plug. ,
