tral Point. Ore.. Dec. 11. 1S93, and

loss. Ho had served In the United
States army tor about four years,
having servod throo yonrs prior to
the war with Germany. During this
war, being a trained man ho wns
kept In tho. training camps In this
country to truln mon-for oversons
duty. It was Iu this work that ho
contracted tho disease which Inter
caused his death. He wns discharged
from tho army last December, but
was sent back to tho hospital? for
treatment tho latter part of May this
year, wherotho passed away on Juno
