ager for the local salmon fishermen,
the present year Is. one of the poor
est seasons for fishing that the men
have 'ever struck, says tho Grants
: Pass Courier. Catches are small
and two or .three . of the boats have
discontinued the business for the
present. ,- Mr. Gethlng states that up
to the 12th of the present month the
run of salmon had been very, light
at the mouth of the Rogue, while. on

no better. During the dry weather
the:, fish hover near the .mouth of
streams. and a heavy storm is. prob
ably needed to Bend them on up the

reversed the decision .given by the
circuit court of this county In the
case of Earl Tucker against Dr. W.
H. Judlngtwhlch has attracted much
attention. Suit was begun against
the defendant to enjoin him from en-l
closing a roadway at Brownsboro
from the premises of Tucker's land
across defendants land -to a public
