The fifth annual track and field
meet of the Southern Oregon Athletic
association will he held Friday on the
public school athletic field at Talent
The following schools will compete
for the Olympio cup now held by the
Phoenix school: Talent, Butte Falls
Jacksonville, Central Point, Gold
Hill, Eagle Point, Rogue River and
Phoenix. Outside of these events
will be field and track events by all
the rural schools of Jackson county.
There will be 64 athletic contests in
all on that day. Admission is free
and a very large crowd is expected to
be in attendance, from all parts of
the county. -
