company, a new concern composed
of Stanley Bishoprlck, S. Berquist,
XI. W. Malcomb and J. Safford, Port
land timbermen. have purchased
from Presley & Hackett the old Gold
Hill Lumber & Railway company's
sawmill plant on Sardine creek, six
miles north of Gold Hill, says the
Grants -Pass Courier. A large tract
of valuable saw timber tributary to
too plant passes to the new owners
in the deal. The hew owners propose
to begin operations at once, and ex-
tend the railwayiinto the timber, and
also rebuild their box factory at Gold
Hill the coming season.
