"Monday at 6 o'clock we miit work

me that I kept on ahead with the car.

me.' Thev doubted my statement at
first, and we ran the car to the home
of a friend and phoned to Medford for
a doctor. That's all there was to it."

cop was shooting to hit tho rear tires

ments and will show methods of fit
ting. Beside tho demonstration, an
exhibit of a 'baby's layette, children's
dresses, and remodeled garments will
be shown. Busio patterns for these
garments will bo on hand and women
desiring may cut coupics of them.
Miss Van Kirk will bo glad to hnvo
women bring in 'to the meeting mate
rials, patterns or garments if thev
wish suggestions concerning their r.sa.
This meeting is being planned for
all the women in the countv who find
it possible to attend. ' Miss Van Kirk
will be in the county onlv one day,

day to bringing into the state nine and
one-half gallons of whiskey. He in
formed Federal Judge Wolverton that

was not imprisoned, in view of the
fact that he was to be married. Judee
