cinity the nerd of Elks liberated at
Fort' Klaiunth about two yearq iago

resident of Jackson county fifty-five
years. He was a member of the
Christian church.' He was married
to Elizabeth March at Napa, Cal..
Nov. 21, 185, and is survived by his
wife, Elizabeth, two sons and two
daughters, Henry and William Greg
ory, and Mrs. Lucinda Weedon and
Mrs. Elizabeth Owens, all of Central
Point, Ore.; also one brother, Jajnes
F. Gregory of Medford, Ore., and two
sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Girlie pf Spring
field, Mo.,' and Mrs. Sarah Clayman

, Mr. Gregory was a man of sterling
character and was a devoted husband
a kind and loving father, and a good
neighbor. He was widely known' and
